وصعد لتلك المرحلة من البطولة أندية ليفربول، توتنهام، آرسنال، مانشستر يونايتد، كريستال بالاس، نيوكاسل يونايتد، ساوثهامبتون، وبرينتفورد.
وتأهل ليفربول على حساب برايتون ليلاقي ساوثهمابتون، حيث أجريت القرعة يوم 30 أكتوبر الماضي.

Australia international Grace Harris has signed a deal with Surrey to play in the inaugural women’s Vitality Blast.The batting allrounder, who has represented her country 62 times in limited overs internationals, becomes Surrey’s first overseas player, and the first outright in the new professional era of women’s county cricket in England and Wales.The 2025 summer will be the first time all men’s and women’s counties will play alongside one another in the Vitality Blast. Harris’ first match will be Surrey Women’s opener against Hampshire Hawks at the Kia Oval on June 5, as part of the double-header alongside the equivalent men’s fixture.Harris is renowned for her big-hitting and wily off spin, skillsets which have made her a staple across a number of franchise tournaments. 27-year-old midfielder Sofyan Amrabat was one of the stars of United’s FA Cup final victory at Wembley on Saturday.
It has been a tough season at times for the Moroccan, who has had fleeting opportunities, but in recent weeks has really shown his best form.
Against City, Amarbat won a deserved 9/10 rating from Luckhurst, on the biggest of stages. The United journalist explained how Amrabat’s “hustling of City ypified United's compact performance” against Pep Guardiola's side, before describing United’s number four as an “impregnable shield”. He was relentless in front of the back four all game and screened them superbly.
This is certainly reflected in the Morocco international’s stats from the final. He actually had fewer touches of the ball than Onana’s 47, with just 37, but he certainly made them count. He won two ground duels, and two out of his three tackles, as well as making 2 clearances. Crucially, Amrabat kept the ball superbly and had a 93% pass accuracy at full-time, completing 25 of his 27 attempted passes.
If Amrabat does leave the club following the end of his loan spell, it has certainly been a memorable way to go out. It was a performance that earned him high praise from one of United's greatest players. Paul Scholes complimented Amrabat's performance on Instagram, calling him a "prime Gattuso." Moroccan journalist Jonas Adnan Giæver even described him as a "mountain."
This might also be Erik ten Hag’s last game as manager of the Red Devils. At the moment, his future is still up in the air, but if it is goodbye, he will leave his post as Manchester United manager as a winner.

It was a campaign that began promisingly but fizzled out towards the end. The Royal Challengers had won seven of their first ten games, but then lost five in a row. They batted first in each of those five games, but crossed 160 only once, a fact that captain Virat Kohli put down nerves in the batting group.”Maybe a bit of nerves, a bit of hesitation,” Kohli told host broadcaster Star Sports after the Eliminator. “As I said, we need to be more expressive with the bat. We didn’t probably have any phases in the game where we got away from the opposition. We just allowed bowlers to bowl in the areas they wanted to and didn’t put them under enough pressure I believe. If you look at our last three-four games, we’ve hit a lot of fielders as well. A lot of good shots going to the fielders. It’s been a strange kind of phase of four-five games for us. Tonight, just didn’t have enough on the board.”The Royal Challengers made 131 for 7 after being asked to bat by the Sunrisers on a slow pitch with turn. Head coach Simon Katich felt that the batting ‘ran out of steam’ after the strong start.”We felt like we were on track at the 10-games mark, and then heading into the last four games… looking back on it now, it feels like we probably ran out of a bit steam,” Katich said at the post-match press conference. “Particularly with the bat. That’s probably the one area that faded a bit after a really good start to the tournament. Credit to the Sunrisers today, I thought they squeezed us beautifully. They took early wickets and then we were always under pressure trying to play catch up. We always felt if we can get 150 on the board we would be in the game, particularly with the two leggies (Yuzvendra Chahal and Adam Zampa) in the team and seeing the wicket. It was slow and offering a little bit of turn. To stack our batting today and only get 130 was disappointing. Just ended up being a forced change due to form.”While acknowledging disappointment at not progressing further in the tournament, Katich stressed that it was far from doom and gloom for the Royal Challengers.”While we fell away to the back end of the tournament, I think throughout, we felt like we made some strides on the previous couple of years,” he said. “Plenty of positives in the tournament, certainly not all doom and gloom. Playing against a tricky Simon Adingra is never an easy task, but the Portuguese full-back was solid from the first minute to the last, making two tackles and interceptions.
The number 20 was as confident as always on the ball, making two key passes, taking 48 touches, and completing 87% of his passes, as per Sofascore.
However, it was his goal in the 73rd minute that made the difference, showing the movement and composure of a seasoned striker to give United the advantage. Yet even with his goal, he wasn’t quite the most impressive on the pitch.
Casemiro’s game in numbers against Brighton
There’s no two ways about it, Casemiro has received a huge amount of backlash in recent weeks for his performances as a centre-half, but today he silenced all of those critics.
The Brazilian lined up alongside Lisandro Martinez in the backline, and he was tasked with keeping Danny Welbeck quiet, who failed to have a single attempt at goal.

Casemiro’s lack of athleticism has been highlighted as a huge issue, but today he was proactive and timed each defensive action brilliantly, whether that was his five tackles or five clearances, one of which was off the line.
Furthermore, the former Real Madrid ace was far less erratic in possession, boasting a massive improvement upon his pass accuracy season average of 83%, which enables United to control the game in spells.
The 9.1 rating by Sofascore was his best score since he moved to Old Trafford nearly two years ago, and it was a far better showing than his last start against Newcastle United in the week.
Although Casemiro may reportedly be on the move this summer, he had the perfect performance today, and it was without doubt one of his best this season, if not his best. If he performs like that every week, Sir Jim Ratcliffe may think twice about selling him.
